Dr. Steinleitner has been a leading infertility specialist in central california for 20 years. his team’s formula for success is based on kindness, personal care, and clinical excellence.
mate fertility has emerged as a leader in fertility care for patients living outside large metropolitan areas. mate knows that expert care is hard to find in small communities. working with select experts, mate is bringing state of the art care to underserved communities.
together, mate fertility and Dr. Steinleitner are partnering to provide high quality fertility care throughout central ca while making advanced treatment affordable. a big piece of this mission is our unlimited ivf programs.
The cost of the program is about 1.5-2x the fee for a single IVF cycle. The idea is that if you end up getting pregnant the first time, you will have paid a bit more than you needed to. A small price to pay for having a baby and enjoying the peace of mind that you were able to afford treatment for your baby.
Patients that need two IVF treatment will enjoy some savings compared to purchasing two individual IVF cycles. Patients that need three or more treatments can move forward with the confidence that you saved a lot! These families know that they have access to all the care that they need without worries about expenses.
Reach out to schedule a Mate Advisor Session to learn more about the unique approach we take to fertility care. We look forward to caring for you.

what fertility services are offered near san luis obispo?

do we offer ivf in-vitro fertilization near san luis obispo?
yes, ivf or in-vitro fertilization is the gold standard for infertility treatment. ivf means fertilization outside the body, or in our case, the lab. if you choose ivf as your treatment you can expect the first 8-12 days of treatment to be what’s called stimulation. during this period you’ll be taking a combination of medications (some injectables) to help stimulate your ovaries to produce as many eggs as possible. once those eggs are looking mature, you’ll get a trigger shot. 36 hours later you will come into the clinic for your egg retrieval. you’ll be asleep for this procedure so you won’t feel a thing, but your physician will retrieve as many eggs as possible. those eggs will then go directly into the lab along with the sperm provided and our embryologist will fertilize your eggs. about 5-6 days later we will monitor the development of those eggs and hope for healthy looking mature embryos. we will then freeze your embryos and once you’re ready, we will transfer one embryo into your uterus. 2 weeks later you’ll get a pregnancy test in the clinic.
